Since the 1980s, CNI has created the first processing lines in the wood sector, completely automated, in which the production flow was controlled by reporting productivity data to the plant management system, checking production times, material produced, waste, offering real-time plant diagnostics in addition to the complete programming of the line machines starting from the data passed from the management system in a completely automatic way. At that time it was not yet possible to exchange all this information via the Ethernet network as today, but the information necessary and useful for controlling a plant was fundamentally the same, less advanced, but equally necessary. The technology available today allows you to do much more, but it can be said that CNI Group is a precursor of Industry 4.0 and thanks to the experience gained over the years it is able to offer unique solutions in terms of completeness and complexity in the supervision of plants, but also of individual machines.
